The Trio Suite (Theme) | Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker

Coloquially referred to as the trio's (Rey, Finn and Poe) theme, this is without a doubt my favourite theme to come out of The Rise of Skywalker. It's probaby the most beautiful piece to come out of the entire sequel trilogy. In my opinion, this is John Williams at its finest, and I can't get enough of it!

The theme The Rise of Skywalker is the dyad's theme, not the trio 🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️

The only good thing I like from The Rise of Skywalker, ; John Williams's score. It didn't give us a bombardment, elegant and militaristic like in prequel, but it works with the script and character. Don't blame John WIlliams, blame the script. He had to compose with given script.

In episodes 8 and 9 it doesn't feel at all that Poe, Finn and Rey are friends or a family like the Fantastic Four. There is no moment in which they manage to demonstrate the bond that characters like Kenobi, Anakin and Padme in the prequels, or Luke, Han and Leia in the original films had. Finn is extremely irrelevant (I'm not one of those crazy people who calls everything woke, but I seem to remember an article where it was said that Disney made him secondary so that in countries like China the product would be profitable. Anyway, I'll do a little more research on that), Poe becomes a comedian in the middle of a war where fascists killed billions of billions of people, both human and other species, and Rey is like the protagonist of the Resident Evil movies, all strengthened because you can tell from Mars that J.J Abrams He likes the actress. In episode 8 it was made clear that although strong she was not the protagonist, although a large part of her problem was Disney's intervention in LucasFilm (Although Kathleen Kennedy was the producer, she was never responsible for the scripts being extremely simple) and that they were copied from Luke, who had the same mistake in the original trilogy, where after episode 5, without visiting Yoda, he becomes a professional using the strength and Jedi abilities. And as a final opinion: John Williams was quite weak in episodes 8 and 9.
