Most Tom Ford are filled to the brim with amber woods. It's basically the house signature. It all depends on how they use it.

Fougeres are my second favourite fragrance family.
Chypres are no.1
But, I don't like Tom Ford's fragrances just because I think they are not worth their prices.
In my country, you can buy a 50 ml of Tobacco Vanille for 150 euros, but for the same price you can also buy a full 100 ml bottle of Jubilation xxv, which is much better, for my taste.
It's a hot summer day in my city and I'm wearing a great fig right now, as my Scent Of The Day :

Olivia Giacobetti did a fantastic job here, just like in Philosykos.

I don't know where I sampled this but I loved it, recently got a bottle. I also got Beau de Jour. I haven't tried Fougere Platine but smelled the Dua clone and it was awful. I do plan to give the real thing a try bc the Dua gave off a nail polish smell, which I believe is just a crappy clone chemistry issue.

This is the best Fougere from the house of Tom Ford. Fougere Platine i cant stand it and looking to sell my bottle. D Argent is smooth and classy. Beautiful fragrance.

Seized from a criminals “proceeds of crime”..my mate had his cars jewellery and expensive clothes taken through proceeds of crime and were all sold on an auction website..more than likely the same with this fragrance

Sometimes I wonder if you actually know what you are talking about - you simply did not get this masterpiece. It is way better than Platine which is super synthetic.
