Let's say I put $10 into a stock. Do I have to continuously add more money into that stock or can I keep the $10 and watch the stock grow or decrease?

I realize this is common knowledge but everyone should also be aware that you’ll pay higher taxes on short term capital gains meaning any profit from a stock that you own for less than one year. Just something to keep in mind before you start trading stocks like it’s a casino game.

Hey I'm new to investing and I was curious when you invested $10, and it said you've gained $5.37 does that mean you now have a total of $15.37 when you sell?

So how do you take out the gains and keep your initial investment in? Example I own stock in Tesla $200 and have a gain now of $87 how would I take the $87 out and invest in something else

Love your videos, so easy to understand. And not a lot of BS, like most other videos. Also cash app is so easy, you have explained it all so well. Closing my other app, to much litigation going on there ....makes me nervous. Again thanks.

I am new to stocking and trying to get a understanding. So you are basically investing in different companies correct? I don’t understand the part about how stocks go up and down. Can you please explain?

Also, can you explain how you get paid from investing in different stocks? Do you receive funds through cash app?
