I was struggling this morning to remain positive and was tearful. This song popped up on a mix I had playing softly in the background. I felt I couldn't carry on anymore....BUT... .God!!!!

I had this sung at my wedding as we walked down the aisle after the ceremony instead of the usual church music. I wanted something meaningful and a symbol of those who couldn't be there. "I will be with you wherever you go".... a message from my mum and my mother in law who had passed away, "i will be with you wherever you go" a promise between a new husband and wife, and also assurance that the Lord will be with us all "wherever we go". Beautifully written.

This hymn always gives me comfort! Whenever I feel alone or like giving up this always brings me back on track.

I would love to hear this hymn played as often as possible please, because I love it so much, as I went to Lourdes 20 years ago or less and since I have always loved it. I would love this to be in the top list of hymns and for people to learn it.

We played this for both of my parents funerals. My dad was an ex merchant seaman so “Come walk on stormy waters; why fear? Reach out and I'll be there” seemed especially apt. 💕
