The evolution and growth of small cities in China over the past few decades have been remarkable, this evolution reflects a solid trend of rapid urbanization, economic transformation, and infrastructural development. I am coming to explore a small city in China called Maoming, a vibrant and economically important city in Guangdong Province that has undergone a significant transformation in recent years.

It’s crazy how China repurpose mining grounds to something extraordinary beautiful, the brains of Chinese are truly exceptional. I remember that iconic hotel in Shanghai built on a mining site too. My love for China 🇨🇳 grow every time, China deserve to be a country many other countries should learn from and look up to .
Good job Raf, your videos are always well made .

China is changing so fast. Not many people are able to catch up with the lighting transformation there who from outside of China, especially in the US, with all the twisted information. Thank you for bringing China to the distance like me! I will forward this to others.

I have followed stories of bringing 800 million people out of poverty in China. This is clearly the next step, to bring prosperity to all. Young people leave small towns in search of opportunities. But if the small towns can offer opportunities, they can stay home. Having a great crop such as lychees is a hallmark of genius Chinese development. Rather than burying the agricultural wealth, it is enhanced.

i think tie 3 or tie 4 cities are the best places for living in China, because: 1. less crowded, 2. Lower living cost 3. Much better housing condition 4. The food is better. 5. Can buy almost everything by online shopping. 4. there is high speed railway, very convinient to visit other places.

The Petrol-dollar is dying and China now has all the cheap gas that Europe once had from Russia. The sky in the limit for China's ascension!

Great video Rafa. I wouldn't know anything about this place if you didn't make this video. What a beautiful place. I love what China is doing all over their country to improve people's lives, cleaner air, more efficient transportation, infrastructure and more

(5:29) Fun fact: Excluding the coastline of nearby islands, the approx. length of the Pacific coastline: China-14, 500 kilometers (about 9, 010 miles); the US-12, 243 kilometers (about 7, 623 miles); Canada-3, 487 kilometers (about 2, 167 miles). There should be plenty of sandy beach resorts for tourism in China. (8:44) Another fun fact: there has been a noticeable overall decline in the purchase of leather shoes in China, reflecting broader shifts in consumer behaviour and market dynamics.

Why is the sky so clear, so blue? But when we watch reports from western countries and India media reporting about China it is always showing foggy and misty sky looks like heavily polluted?

Pro China : See China can build something for 40% the price. And always on time.

Anti-China: Of course, cheap and on time, the quality is like tofu

I come from this city. Maoming's history of building a city is actually very short. It was only in 1959 that Maoming was established. It has a heavy industry that refines oil, also known as the oil city of southern China, which has been developing rapidly in recent years, and next year this small city will have a second high-speed railway. Speaking of this city, it belongs to a small city with relatively backward urban development in China.
