If i remember right, the tyranids won because the orc warboss left for a minute, and the rest of the orcs killed each other over who gets to take over until the warboss gets back.

If I remember right they “Won” but they pretty much had to destroy the planet and all bio mass they tried to get, realizing they cannot win a battle that would result in minimum loss anyways.

they only won because drazgul chose to leave with all his orks which opened a huge hole for the tyranid.

I'll be honest, my bets were entirely on the Orks winning that one.

What if the Ork soldiers on that planet became so bored of crushing tyranids with ease and learning their simplistic patterns and evolutions that they started handicapping themselves and just "lost" so they can get stronger and they can scrap with them next time.

Like learning the ins and outs of an old video game so well that you start giving yourselves challenges to overcome to make it more interesting.
