PMI's Stakeholder Engagement Assessment
Показать описание
Do you have a different stakeholder? In this video, I will be discussing PMI’s Stakeholder Engagement Assessment Matrix. This matrix will take your Stakeholder Register to the next level.
PMI's Stakeholder Engagement Matrix is a tool that helps project managers identify stakeholders who are resistant or unaware of a project into a stakeholder who is a supporter or maybe even a Champion/Leader for the project. This tool provides a visual representation of stakeholders’ current stance on a project and their desired future state.
The Stakeholder Engagement Matrix helps project managers prioritize their efforts and allocate resources effectively. Based on the assessment findings, the project team can develop targeted action plans to improve stakeholder engagement called the Stakeholder Engagement Plan. These plans may include communication strategies, refining engagement processes, addressing stakeholder concerns, or establishing new mechanisms for collaboration and involvement thus moving the stakeholder from the current state to their desired state.
By utilizing the Stakeholder Engagement Assessment Matrix & the Stakeholder Engagement Plan, project managers can better manage stakeholder relationships, build trust, and foster collaboration. This ultimately contributes to project success by aligning stakeholder expectations, reducing conflicts, and maximizing support for the project's goals and objectives. Please reach out below in the comment section with any questions you might have.
