Rugby. Simplified. In this rugby video from the Six Nations, I look at Dupont's work rate and defensive tactics that helped put France back into a strong position versus Italy. That pressure led to a wonder offload and try.

Thank you for supporting my channel!

Dupont’s ability to convert his teams line breaks in to scores is astonishing - he is by far the MVP in rugby right now

Dupont is renowned as an attacking threat but few realise how competent he is also in defence. Many thanks for the clips !

The thing with great players is that even when much opposition homework has been done to identify their weaknesses, they are creative and influential, creating gaps, thinking with cold heads. That perfectly envisioned then crafted try-scoring pass illustrates this. Must be nice being Dupont right now!!👌

Fascinating. I’ve learned more watching 2 or 3 videos of your channel than watching for 20 years the French television giving us explanations of what's going on...I have subscribed and cannot wait for your next detailed yet accessible explanations. Thanks coach!

I saw an interview with Dupont a couple years ago and was very impressed with his ability to find issues in his game and how to fix them. I think that's what made him such a great player, hes working constantly to improve his game and seems to just get better and better. It's pretty incredible to see...

Thanks for that video, you appreciate the try so much more when you rewind and see all the efforts and intelligent move Dupont made before...He was a few seconds catching his breath after the try, one can see why!!!

Nice video. The Italian's 9 and 10 did manage to cause problems to this Shawn's defence. The Irish should pay attention.

Most scrum halves in the game today recycle ball from scrums and rucks, box kick and little else. It’s nice to see a 9 who is similar in mould to westhuizen

I think the other thing worth noting in this video is that Italy exposed the gap behind France's first line of defense where the 9 traditionally jockeys the ruck. a stronger team with a stronger winger than Ione e.g. Van der Merwe for Scotland, James Lowe for Ireland might have been able to produce 2 or 3 M more advantage from that play and have the french really scrambling. especially with the likes of Russel or Sexton orchestrating a backline with a good front foot ball.

How can I watch the six nations in America?

Yes he is a complete rugby player, and he honors the sport by running back to get in position, not engaging in cringeworthy celebrations such as jumping into the arms of a forward when a try is scored ....which should be a yellow card

Dupont may well be the best scrum- half in the game today.
