As a young woman I lived and worked in my small Arkansas hometown. During that 3 to 4 year period I worked at two different companies that had government contracts. One developed and build a tank with weapons. The other built certain fighter jets. I was so glad that our small town had these gov't contract companies as employers in our little town. I never thought about the ramifications of it until now.
