This movie came out in 1989 so none of these players were born yet so it's nice to see an appreciation for a classic. This is a conversation I was having the other day about the MLB. Baseball used to have movies, stars were on cereal boxes, had their own games and the marketing was amazing. They don't have that anymore so now they want new fans and their solution is rule changes to make the game shorter. What? You think new fans want to see the game 5-10 minutes shorter? No, they want we had to make us love the game early on. Make baseball seem fun again. Market the product. We had cards, toys, movies, games and so many other things. What do they have now? Even the NFL has Play60. Baseball needs to catch up.
