I have the same Carol's Daughter products and the Hair Balm is great for my hair as well. I'm not a big fan of her products but the ones I do have like the Healthy Hair Butter, and the Black Vanilla Leave In are good. I use the leave in as a refresher as well.

I'm a fine haired curly and you are right, pomades do wonders for my hair. I use them for styling. It is absolutely all in the application. A little goes a long way.

I love that hair balm. It moisturizes my hair very well and smells good. The products are pricey but they work better for my hair than KCC, and miss jessies for moisture.
