Hi YAD! As a Tunisian I want to say a big welcome to you and your family! Ive watched your whole series and I absolutely loved it! You've captured the beauty of Tunisia so honestly and I really respect how you didn’t shy away from mentioning the challenges you faced. To answer your question, Sidi Bou Said was the first to go blue and white, way back in the 1920s, thanks to the french artist Rodolphe d’Erlanger. As Tunisians it’s in our vision to see our country overcome its issues and shine even brighter, we’re hopeful and working towards it every day. Thank you for exploring our country with such genuine curiosity and kindness. You’re always welcome here, and I hope to see you back soon!

Again disappointed hearing this inaccurate roman thing everywhere. No country no people accept the alteration of their history. This is the civilisation of Carthage having been one of the very few oldest republics parliaments and democracies in the world with which Tunis, Tunisia and Tunisians identifie. On another note, you missed trying the tea with pignons, a delicious Tunisian specialty, the variety of pizzas we have got and the Tunisian delicious sweets which are with all due objectiveness unmatched in the world. And try to do the island of Djerba if you ever come back it is a treasure. Good video overall and honest review

yes, Sidi Bou Said adopted its iconic white and blue color scheme in 1920, setting a precedent for this aesthetic. In contrast, Santorini began transitioning to white and blue in the 1930s, initially for health reasons (limewash to combat diseases). This style gained prominence between 1936 and 1941 during the Metaxas regime
