The bad news for Cartoon Network Studios continues. Many Cartoon Network employees are losing their jobs, the studio building is shutting down, and no new original projects are being announced. What's really happening to Cartoon Network Studios, and is there any hope left when the people who worked there are joining Warner Bros. Animation instead? Is this the end of an era for Cartoon Network?

I'm going to miss Cartoon Network. Their shows like Regular Show and Adventure Time were a huge part of my childhood

While the brand lives on, the studio is dead. This is truly the darkest day in the history of animation. Zaslav must pay for what he has done.

cartoon network was in our hearts but it's sad that EVERY animators and creators also say goodbye and this whole shutting down is like if our childhood disappeared.

*We can't let this studio die! It means so much to so many people here! Seeing it go is going to hurt a lot!*

My friends, as someone who grew up watching shows like Adventure Time, Regular Show, and Gumball, this deeply saddens me. The animation industry seems to be changing for the worst. However, there is still hope. As the video states, Cartoon Network is moving to WBA, so perhaps in the near future we can find new productions from Warner Bros. Not to mention that there are a multitude of other cartoon studios that are still willing to animate. Don’t lose hope, ladies, gents, and everyone in between, animation will never die.

I strongly think that they should turn the building into a museum. I hope they don't tear it down or anything like that.

Growing up with Gumball, We Bare Bears, and Regular Show, and those days are now over. Thank you CNS for giving me a good childhood.

Cartoon network will always be here in my heart, and whenever I watch adventure time or steven universe I'll always remember the good old days and never forget the legendary Cartoon network😢

I would definitely create a CN inspired show called Cartoon City that would combined shows together in a single shared universe to honor the studio if Warner Bros Discovery gave me permission.
EDIT 1: the original home is gone but the studio still reminds. I did ask Cartoon Network for permission and they have yet to respond.
EDIT 2: I don’t think they are going to respond. So, it will have to a fan fiction instead.

People Born 2012 and up ain’t going to know what Cartoon Network is!

People born 1979 - 2013 are the last ones To experience Cartoon Network before this mess 💀

So many Cartoons I loved have been made in that awesome building. Ben 10, Ok Ko, Ben 10, Teen Titans, presumably Sonic Boom, Flapjack, Adventure Time, Regular Show, Chowder and etc. this really really is truly a end of a era for all of us but I guess it’s to be expected. We have all grown up to be teens, college students and Parents ourselves so this is just us saying one last goodbye. I mean not only has cartoons been made here but there was something just kinda magical about this place I mean Pendleton Ward created the Cosmic Owl thanks to something he saw in the bathrooms here. Let that sink in folks Adventure Time could have been extremely different if Mr Ward didn’t see that thing in the bathroom

this is really sad. I don't think many people would have a better childhood without cartoon network, including myself (though i admit, i didnt really grew up a whole lot with CN, 'cause of like lack of satelite tv and such). Goodbye Cartoon Network studios. We will miss you 😢

Remember when we all thought CN had a bright future ahead at this moment in time one year ago?
I want to go back to then.

I'm going to miss Cartoon Network Studios because they have pretty good logos for every shows. The one I liked so far was Adventure Time as well as the other rebranded version for other shows from 2013 and so on.
