Depending on the ship, the pizzeria might be called Pizza Pirate, Miami Slice, Coastal Slice, or Pizzeria del Capitano.

Here’s a brief overview of what you can expect:

* Service: The pizza is served by the crew, and lines can get long, especially after 9 PM. However, service is generally quick unless your desired topping is being baked.
* Options: You can order by the slice, a whole pizza, or even have a custom one made. During the summer of 2024 on the Carnival Venezia, they offered two extra-cost flavors: teriyaki chicken and Korean Steak BBQ, priced at $6 each.

* Hours: The pizzeria is open from 9 AM to 4 AM, and on ships with Pizza Pirate, it’s open 24 hours.

* Menu: The complimentary menu includes popular options like Margherita, Pepperoni, Quattro Formaggi, Funghi, and Prosciutto.

After sailing on 6 cruise lines and nearly 40 cruises I think Carnival has the best pizza at sea. At least for free pizza anyway. MSC is very Italian style pizza which is still good. Royal has cheap quick pizza great when you are drunk and hungry otherwise it is just ok. Carnival has a great crust and sauce.

I enjoyed the gourmet pizzas on Princess at Alfredo’s. Carnival is really the best for quick pizza.

Yes best pizza and burgers and it is included. I only tried Royal and Carnival but Carnival wins hands down. I also think they are less crowded and a better value. I do plan to try MSC soon though.

I was on the Carnival Glory around 2014/15. Pretty good pizza for what it is but man, I felt bad for the workers. One day I went around lunch time and then also went at 4am and it was all the same workers that were working when I went at noon lol.

I like all the cruise line Pizza's, I love Carnivals, Carnival Mardi Gras had enough people to make service quick. Makes me rate Sorento's and MSC higher, they need to add more employees on their older ships as Pizza is #1 for any snack or meal.

I would agree that Carnival has some of the best pizza at sea. You can get through the line faster if you order slices over whole pizza. The WORST pizza at sea is Celebrity. There is NO crisp to the crust and it turns out soggy. Great video.

Carnival has the best free pizza. Princess cruise has better pizza but it cost extra. Royal Caribbean has ok pizza but not as good as my family was hoping for.

Not a huge fan of pizza but will eat it if I had to. My pizza of choice would be a spinach, roasted garlic and goat cheese. That’s just me.

I am not a fan of Carnival pizza. My favorite is Celebrity's pizza. second to that is GiGi's or Alfredo's on Princess.
