Playwright August Wilson grew up in The Hill District in Pittsburgh and wrote plays about the people and struggles of this predominantly Black neighborhood. Wilson's famed Century Cycle positions a play within each decade of the 20th Century. Duane spends a day in The Hill visiting August Wilson's childhood home, which is now an arts center, with author and theater critic Christopher Rawson; We visit the presumed spot of the seminal Wilson character, Aunt Esther's home; We'll eat at one of Wilson's favorite restaurants; visit with librarians at the University of Pittsburgh's Hillman Library about the August Wilson Archive, and visit the fantastic permanent display dedicated to Wilson at the August Wilson African American Cultural Center.

Mom and i would do just that what ypur programs are about for historical markers and museums too..later her and dad ..they went to other countries .😮
