I love how Remington is learning a valuable skill, spending time with dad and really enjoying swinging on the strap in the middle!

Noticed your new "barnraiser"- Remington. Awesome to see one of yours taking up the trade! He looks to be a go getter for sure! Best to Em and all! Fred

Why are the girts attached with so many nails? Does the insulation "push" back/out?

Can you speak to the energy efficiency of this style of building vs a traditional stick built home?

I prefer a minimum of 2” of closed cell foam on ceiling even if you plan other blow in insulation once joists are up and whatever barrier or 16 ply plastic before metal is installed on ceiling to enable 24” of blow-in insulation.

Do you sheath exterior walls then house wrap then metal siding? Or just wrap framing and install metal siding right over the house wrap without sheathing. I will be having one built soon and curious about this. Thanks a lot! Enjoy watching the videos.

Keep those windows upen. Don't let the moisture cooking out of the slab buildup on you walls like someone else did.

95°F in the shade of a building would be welcomed.
