Показать описание
For the following exercises, find the average rate of change of each function on the interval specified for real numbers b or h.
g(x) = 3x2 − 2 on [x, x + h]
a(t) = 1/(t + 4) on [9, 9 + h]
b(x) = 1/(x + 3) on [1, 1 + h]

I know that this video got posted 3 years ago and you probably aren't seeing comments anymore, that's fine. But I'd like to say that I had been doing college math with a teacher who's got a serious language and technological barrier, so she both has trouble being understood in class and doesn't post resources. I'd been just about ready to pull my hair out over some problems that tbh I procrastinated on for a longggg time because I didn't know how to do them. Your explanations were detailed and helpful, I feel like a lightbulb turned on working with you. Thanks for the help, definitely coming back to this channel.

I have been doing online college math, my professor only adds short unhelpful videos and gives us a link to a textbook to solve long homeworks. I have been stuck on my homeworks for days, watching youtube videos and the resources my professor uploaded. I have never felt so hopeless and lost in math before.

Until....I came across your channel. Such a blessing! I have been powering through my homework which I am severely behind so fast! I actually understand what I am doing now and it's more enjoyable to do the problems with your videos.

Thank you so much! Your channel is a God send!! Appreciate all of these videos so much! Thank you guys!!

Your channel is amazing, thanks a lot for those videos. You forgot to distribute the negative sign in the last step in the second question, the fina answer is -1 over 13(h+13). Keep going I am gonna watch all your videos before the final exams.

I don't get the end of the second one. Wouldn't canceling h leave no numerator, so it would be 0, no?

Is there a part 2 of this where you use those intervals to find average rates of given intervals on a table using the formula from your answer?

how do we get 2xh? i see you did the foil meathod but im not sure uf i understand, when i did (x+h)(x+h) i got X^2+xh+hx+h^2. Is xh and hx the same?
