Dude, Rhett - love what you're doing in exposing us to some super dynamic guitarists. Love your channel and thanks for shining light on these incredible musicians.

Madison is like a mashup of Radiohead, Jeff Buckley, and Joni Mitchell, while still remaining unique. Best musical discovery of my life.

Man... I just love watching Rhett geek out like this...
Can we just talk about how people with his level of talent still gets so stoked about the things they experience from other artists?
THIS is how music stays alive folks... fall in love with it, share that love, and rock on!

She was set to explode right as the pandemic hit and kneecapped all her momentum. I'm really glad to see she's recovering and getting her due appreciation.

She's basically doing the bass and rhythm guitar functions at the same time. From the way she plays and the groove she has, I bet she's also a great bass player.

I went to see Madison a few weeks ago. I think she’s one of the most talented people I’ve ever seen

I KNEW I wasn't the only one who's caught on to her music lately. Her sound is incredible

Madison is brilliant. she makes 7 sound as natural as Brubeck did 5
and her tone and her melodic choices bring Scofield to mind.
Yes... her vocals and her intimate lyrics remind of Joni.
all these unique elements beautifully integrated here. Brava

She's easily one of the top newer artists. Great job bigging her up! She's doing great, but deserves a lot more attention.

outstanding phrasing, incredible ear… wonderful combination in a young guitarist! It’ll be INTERESTING to see what she’s doing in years to come - quite amazing

I discovered Maddison Cunningham when she supported the John Mayer solo tour on the European leg. I was absolute floored. One of the best live acts I've ever seen and she was just the support act.

I really appreciate you spending time highlighting other artists and spending time to talk theory about their songs. It’s always great to hear appreciation for others out besides the “big named” artists

I got hooked on that song and her guitar playing too, great that you are giving her the recognition her talent deserves.

It's rare at 58 years old to hear an artist that is so exciting and talented, but you have just done that for me. She is amazing, thank you. Just hit your sub great video.

Watched her grow up in our home church in So Cal where her dad (Scott Cunningham) was our worship leader, and a great guitarist in his own right.
She is an amazing & gifted musician. 😮🎉

Yes! Thank you for this show! I'm one of the most enthusiasic advocates of Madison Cunningham anywhere. I've listened to and loved everything she's done since I first discovered her playing on Chris Thile's show three or four years ago, and I've recommended her to anyone who will listen ever since. The fact that so many really good, established musicians are so enthusiastic about her and are passing the word along is telling. She does a lot of covers (e.g. during the pandemic) and makes a terrific side musician (on Thile, for Andrew Bird).
She's absolutely the best singer/songwriter/guitarist out there right now who isn't at least 70 years old, and her new record is fantastic.
And by the way, please tell your buddy Rick Beato to do a show on her! I agree that this lady absolutely must be supported.

Madison is awesome. I've followed for a while but haven't figured out any of her tunes. Thanks for breaking this one down!

Thank you so much for using your platform to give Madison the attention she deserves! I've been a long time fan through the internet and will finally get to see her live in my home country Germany this December!

Hi Rhett .. I am a 70 year old danish fan of yours. Lately you led my musical curiousity towards Madison Cunningham. I’m speechless. She is amazing og leads my associations towards an old hippieband THE INCREDIBLE STRINGBAND. I’m totalt flappergasted. She gigs i Copenhagen, but unfortunalely the venue is sold out ☹ all the best 🎶

I really like this type of videos! Not only does it expose these incredible artists to a lot of people, but it also gives me inspiration and a lot of new aproaches to guitar playing that i never thought of before.
So keep doing these please!
