Where did you get the mount for the monoshock? I have a 79cx500 I just got back up and running and love the looks of this. Want to mimic with my own twist. Any major issues with the mono shock install?

What size are about a proper throttle cable? What my source for that. Sudco is been my source for decades.

My 1980 cx500 is having issues accelerating and backfires when turning up on the accelerator when driving. Once its up at 5k rpms all is fine because I guess it gets enough fuel.
The bike was parked for a few years so ran some carburetor cleaner and seafoam in the gas to try and clean things out, but now have this problem.
Someone suggested it was the timing, but I don't know.
Now the question is should I have the stock carbs rebuilt? or spend the $700 on a new set of carbs? maybe there is an easy fix I am missing.
