Why would Tomlin want to go anywhere for a fresh start? He can draft any QB he wants, push them to go for any guy in FA, or hire an OC/DC he wants, and they won't fire him, he can literally reset the franchise himself in the offseason and start a new era.

I gotta say… we all love to make fun of Nick’s mannerisms, we love Wildes’s hilarious impressions of him as a nasal-voiced nerd… but one thing about his delivery is awesome total class. It’s when a colleague is making a point he doesn’t agree with (Brou saying Lamar’s gonna win it all). And Nick doesn’t agree but doesn’t want to jump in and argue. So he coolly says

There is a difference between “nervous” and “antsy”
“Nervous” implies you are scared and the moment is too big for you so you just shut down, like LeBron not taking shots in the 2011 finals or Paul George shooting 3s off the side of the backboard.
“Antsy” sounds more like you are a “teeth clencher” who tries to do too much, you throw the ball too hard, get too emotional, keep trying to go for home runs or extend big plays when you should just settle for less and take what the defense gives you…etc. more like Peyton Manning.

Nervous is just like a mental block, antsy is something that can work if you learn keep your emotions in check.

“ the guy in cowboy hat “ has an AP vote in the NFL, the cast has 5 former NFL players and brings much insight to thier show.
You guys should just stick to doing what you do and don’t waste time mentioning other shows that are quite successful and doing their thing . I love your show. I watch it every day. I also love the Pat McAfee show and watch it every day. I don’t hear them bashing other sports shows specifically like you guys do to them every once in a while. It just sounds like jealousy. It’s not a good look on any of you guys.
As far as them cursing goes, I’m sure you know who pays their salaries, have you ever thought that ESPN wants them to do that to make them different and not the same from every other three suits that talk sports on a panel?
They are different. There’s nothing wrong with different. If there was ESPN wouldn’t be paying them millions of dollars to do what they do not to mention send them to Saturday morning college game day. McAfee is doing what not many others have achieved if any….
