Plants vs Zombies: Battle for Neighborville frame rate test showing the framerate/fps on Nintendo Switch.

The version tested was 1.0.2. Footage is from the game running in docked mode.

Switch in docked mode uses a dynamic resolution with the highest resolution found being 1920x1080 and the lowest resolution found being approximately 1280x720. Pixel counts at 1920x1080 seem to be rare.

Switch in portable mode uses a dynamic resolution with the highest resolution found being 1280x720 and the lowest resolution found being approximately 682x384.

The resolution seems to change often on Switch in both modes. The stated resolutions above were found during gameplay and are not representative of the resolution during the 20fps cutscenes. During the 20fps cutscenes the only resolution found in docked mode was 1600x900 and the only resolution found in portable mode was approximately 1138x640.

Switch in both modes appears to use a form of checkerboard rendering to reach the stated resolutions. Half horizontal resolution artifacts are often noticeable in both modes.

Watch in 4K and 60fps for the best experience.

Docked mode performs really good in terms of resolution (at least for me).

Plays surprisingly better than I thought when I got it too, glad it made it over. The first one on 360 was one of my fav late xbox 360 games.

I still find it very difficult to believe that Bfn is on Switch tbh.

Any chance you can do Judgment on PS5/Series X?

Nintendo better release a Switch Pro for 1080p gaming, 400$ for a 360p machine is a rip off, and the 6 year old releases still costs 60$ bucks, NINTENDO is more shady than ever.

Very unstable 30fps and blurry image? This is the Apex Legends disaster all over again.

Isn't this game 1080p 60fps on Ps4/Xone...pretty sure it is. Maybe i am thinking about a different version, all I know is 30fps for this type of game is an bummer.
