I often get asked what is the "best island in Thailand." Now there could be a lot of answers to that, but Koh Samet is ALWAYS on my list. An easy 1 hour drive south of Pattaya Thailand. Koh Samet is a quiet island with beautiful beaches. If you're staying in Pattaya and would like to have a great beach day, this is ALWAYS my first suggestion!

Nobody talks about it because it's no news. Every Pattaya tourist booked 1-2 nights breather in Ko Samed at least once. I personally visit it every time when in Pattaya
