I like the “compose” feature. It has more control over the lyrics. Thanks for explaining how to use it.

Thanks for the video, Chris. I tried creating a symphonic movement in the classical style of Mozart or Beethoven. First of all, it rejects any reference to a composer's name, even if they've been dead for 200 years. Secondly, the orchestral samples being used sound more akin to Suno 3.0 or 3.5. They are boxy and have little presence. I noticed some harmonic distortion in the upper registers, which makes listening to them unpleasant. Lastly, there was little resemblance of the creative musical results to the advanced prompts I gave Riffusion.

Granted, Suno 4.0 has its own issues of following prompts, but I have been more successful in getting a music selection that bears relevance to my prompts. That said, probably about 70-80% of the music created in Suno ends up in the trash. I think that Riffusion has some features that could be quite useful once they get the quality of their music up to a higher level. It's nice to have a song actually come to a definitive conclusion, rather than Suno's inability to ever end. Looking forward to some advancements in Riffusion's platform as they develop their software. Thanks again for the time and effort you put into your video.

Udio is my number one by far. Mureka, can give you some gems too

I've checked this out and it's STUNNING - not perfect; nothing is (yet) but somewhat - in fact, noticeably (IMHO) - better than Suno and Udio - this is amazing tech - the vocals sometimes need a little improvement - but the send stems function is great and it's not hard to take it from there...

“To answer your question at the end, here are my first impressions:

I think Riffusion Beta is very competitive at the moment, as not only does it contain most of Suno’s beta features and some of Udio’s advanced sliders, it also hosts them without a subscription required to use them (although that may change in the future). However, I’m pretty sure the audio outputs are just Suno v4 in disguise; they seem to feature the exact same singers despite the Fuzz v0.7 name. Moderate lyrics toggle? That too is likely just the Classic lyrics model. Despite my observations, it may be my new favorite until a subscription is introduced. As a Basic plan user, I’d be stuck with v3.5 if it weren’t for Riffusion.” -Alternate

So glad Suno has competition. I'm tired of the songs ending abruptly and wasting credits on fixing the music. This is really good, but can you use this commercially though?

Thanks for doing this. Doing the same songs with the same prompts and my lyrics on both Suno and Riffusion - Suno is far superior in arrangements. Voices are equal.

Cool, I have to check it out, thank you!😎

Thanks for your very informative video. I started using Suno about 5 weeks ago, which was my first dive into the world of AI music generation. and I’ve been thinking it’s time to explore other options. Certainly worth checking out Riffusion based on your video.

Sounds okay. Can you add prompts which change the vocalist accent to UK English? I got sick of every English speaking Suno / Udio generation having an American accent.

As long as it’s free, you have no rights to any content you create with it. However, if you use Suno's paid version, you own all rights to anything you create.

Guys please read terms of service before you use any of the AI Music websites out there. This website clearly states you cannot use any of the creations made on their site commercially meaning they are absolutely useless since you can't even use them as background music for youtube or else they have all the right to come and claim the monetization of your videos. Chris is not the first Youtuber that has posted about this service without reading the terms of service. I get it, they are usually long and boring but as AI Enthusiasts we know better, as all it takes is two seconds to copy and paste the TOS into an LLM and it will let us know our rights.

Thank you, I have used it on my channel.

Just took it for a spin. Friggin awesome. Only problem I created a random prompt experimental R&b male vocal and every time gave me a female vocal.

Thank you if you want to answer. What do you use to make images and images into videos. To produce clear and real videos.

Well reading their terms of service it says you cant even post them on any monetized youtube channel and are only for private use. aka useless. It also says if you carefully read that they have full rights to do anything they want with whatever you make! That is a poor choice in any case ! Perhaps this will change ! Under Suno's TOS You actually own and have rights to the content if you have a paid account! That license is worth more than any possible reason to go with any other service! So I suggest you beware and make sure you read and understand what it says! And of course always watch for changes they may sneak in!

I was a bit surprised that Riffusion gave me lyrics using the f-word (prompt: electronic gothic with female vocals about a vampire couple falling in love with each other). The sound quality is debatable. Think I'll stick with Suno for the time being and let's see what the future brings.

I am giving it a shot right now. I hope this can replace the generator I am using now. So far the settings seem lackluster.
