"She's into ghosts, I'm not, we're okay about it" is an underrated line. It's one of the lines that stuck me hardest from the whole special. It's not a joke but it tells a whole story.

Reminded me of that short about Hank and John and only one believes in god. "We don't agree where the voice is coming from, but we agree what the voice is saying"

Spooky Lady is the kindest way to describe someone who believes in a lot of things you think are nonsense. I love it.

similar thing happened to me
"Hey, I got a car crash alert thing from my watch, you ok?"
"Oh yeah I'm fine."
"oh ok that's good--"
"I did kinda fall off a cliff and break my arm tho"

My calls started with, “Good news is I don’t have Covid…but I do have cancer”. This was April 2020.

That oh no reminded me so much of Robin Williams. Thank you Hank Green for being very funny.

Honestly, Hank has some standup chops. The ebb and flow of the dialogue works and yoy can tell he put a lot of effort into his delivery.

Dude can make gold out of misery. Thats a life affirming quality. Hes earned my respect.

I called my mom after bloodwork and told her "they think I have leukemia, I'm being taken to the hospital, they want me to start chemo immediately" her response "you don't have leukemia, I'm on my way, I'll fix it" well I did have AML & she stayed by my side advocating & cleaning non stop for about 9 months. I had 5% odds and am 16 years in remission next month! 💜 Love, light & prayers for all those affected by cancer. Stay strong💪🏻

"And I- oh no" Felt that one right in my soul, I would totally end up doing that exact same thing if I were in that position of delivering news like that

I love the little movements that seem so cheery and are paired so well with the scenario

Reminds me of the time when my dad called me six times because my grandpa had died. Not too long after he called me again six times, making me super worried, turns out he just decided to keep calling because I didn’t pick up.

I did something similar to my mom a few years ago.

We call each other multiple times a week, usually around 5:30 PM while I'm driving home. One day, she called me and was chatting, asking how my day had been. I told her it was pretty good, but that I'd bet she was going to change that. Mom got quiet and told me my Aunt had passed away that morning. (She didn't want to call while I was at work.)

I knew because I'd dreamt about it the night before. This wasn't the first dream I'd had where I'd learned a family member was going to pass soon. (I've had these types of dreams most of my life.) Most of the time, it's formulaic. Another [deceased] family member shows up, and we chat. I ask about certain people and am told, "They're not here" or "They're on their way." A few times, I've argued with the family member or told them that I knew why they were here and we would not be talking about it. (Doesn't change things.)

I use to be a minister, I quit, and had to learn how to regulate my nervous system. Now years later, I have a cleaning business I enjoy.

As a child of immigrants I was never modeled how to move from white collar to blue collar work but I’ve never been more satisfied with life.

I’m not convincing people to keep an institution’s profits growing. I’m providing a tangible product of support, non judgment, and care. I clean their homes. I help them regulate by being in a Cleaner Space. It’s how I serve people. I relate so incredibly to your journey to relieving suffering without living in moral injury/causing your own suffering💖

I remember when I was younger. A call after 7 or 8 usually meant something terrible had happened or someone was dead.
