Upgrading your suspension is a simple and affordable way to make your bike faster. By upgrading your suspension, you'll improve your handling and speed, making your bike more responsive and fun to ride. If you're ready to boost your bike's performance, then this upgrade is for you!

Stock suspension works well for road riding but as your skills improve or if you ride on the track then you can ride faster and more safely with an improved suspension system. One of the easiest ways to upgrade is to follow the same path as KTM and fit the White Power Apex suspension, and in this video I show how easy it is to replace stock front suspension with Apex - a better system with the added benefit of being able to adjust rebound and compression so that you can dial in the bike to suit you and your riding style.

KTM part numbers for the fork legs (order from your dealer) are:
94801001000

But note it would be cheaper to buy the Apex Pro inserts from White Power/ WP dealers.

Torque: Wheel spindle 25Nm, Fork stub 15 Nm, Brake calliper 30Nm, lower triple clamp 12Nm, upper triple clamp 15Nm

I like to show you interesting things you can do and that I’ve done with my bikes, but I can’t promise you that anything I show you will work on your bike as not everything is always exactly the same. If anyone's wondering about the new 2024 rear suspension of adv 390 and new Duke 390 it fits perfectly on 2017+ 390 models too i don't know about the 2016 last model. But on old models the soft and hard settings screw is a bit hidden can't access it correctly but everything else is a awesome upgrade.

I did the same exact upgrade earlier this yr. These forks are actually a couple mm longer than the stock forks so if you gave it lined uo with the lines on top of the forks, you end up raising the front end. I have my front end lowered quite a bit to get it to turn in the way i want it. You may not notice if all you're doing is street riding

Nice work and much appreciated. I saw the 2024 was coming out with adjustable and wondered if i could upgrade my 2023. Any feedback after a month or riding? My reason for the upgrade is I would like to soften up the ride for the long highway rides (no shortage of potholes here), then adjust back for the twistiest. Not sure of the validity of my thoughts.

Hi, can you make a video on how to adjust valves for us regular viewers. I have a 2019 KTM 390 Duke. I am in Germany. I took it to the KTM dealer for the 15, 000KM service, rode it for a week or so, but I can hear a noise, and thinking they did not adjust the valves correctly or did not even do it at all. It’s under warranty. But I now don’t trust the shop I took it too. That’s also where the bike was bought it from previous owner.

I'm thinking of removing exhaust/muffler on the side(slip on?)
Will it affect engine in long run?
Issues with air fuel mixture?
A lot of people say it wont do any damage, but a lot are also saying about back pressure and how it ruins engine.
Please help.

Is there a difference in performance/adjustability between the Husqui401 suspension (the one you used) and an insert andreani/WPapex pro 6500 ?
I can have a used full tube Husqui401 for 600€ but at that price I can also get the insert andreani/WPpro !

Hi Mirius, i have an old Ktm Rc200 with a problem on the front brake, allready try a lot of things and non display a real change. There is anyway u can guide me or just review my steps to find the error? Right now im suspecting that could be related to the fork. Sry for the potato English
