Great video. I just pulled out my side cutter (won't tell you how long I've had it) and with this video, I was able to get it working. I did use a pair of tweezers to pull the fabric that was being cut forward as it was sort of sticking... thanks for walking us through all the feet and how they work. it's a tremendous help.

While I'm waiting to save up for the Serger, I decided to buy this foot. It kept causing the needle to fall out of it's holder--which of course damaged the bobbin case. I figure it is vibrating too much and loosing the screw, but how do I make it stop?

I just purchased this.. unfortunately the needle clamp on my brother is way too short for it to hold on securely... if I loosen it then the needle will just fall out. any solutions??? thanks.

This thing is actually horrible! I went to purchase one an he guy in the store attempted to demo this for me before purchase upon my request and it failed miserably. He tried 4 different brand new ones and he was a professional. When he did get one to work, the results were horrible. I'd just get a serger, better results. You did a great job explaining how it suppose to work.

I was confused the first time used this foot. I realized I wasn't bringing the fabric up over foot edge, thus nothing was being cut. After that, it worked wonderfully. I'm sorry you had so much trouble! Some feet can be so frustrating.
