Sarah Connor ends up getting the same cuts on her shoulder that she would’ve gotten in Terminator 2: Judgment Day if the timeline hadn’t been messed up. In T2, Sarah gets a cut on her back from the T-1000 , and at the end, it pierces her shoulder from the front. In Genisys, she gets a cut on her back from when she is hit by a car after traveling to 2017, and the T-3000 pierces her shoulder. This just adds to the point that some things are unavoidable in history.

Damn the fact that Genisys actually a had a cool detail is insane lol. Especially when the movie wasn't the best in all fairness

Yeah I like small details like that. Like in T-2 future John has that scar across his eye. Even though that future was technically stopper. In Salvation John gets the same scar from the T-800 who scratched his face.

I actually liked this terminator movie back in 2015. Now the one after that in 2019 was awful 😖

Worst thing about genisys, Kyle and Sarah never had John. And that's a Canon Event that they messed up.
If no John Connor, then the T-3000 shouldn't have the appearance of John Connor, then Kyle wouldn't have been sent back, then all of time would be messed up for good, and the machines would've actually won their war preventing John from being born

This is the same case with John Connor's eye scar. No matter which timeline, he will always get it when he becomes an adult.

In Terminator Franchise, starts from The Terminator(1984) to terminator genisys, the future portal where terminator comes starts fire(John Conner is alive) but in Terminator Dark Fate(john is dead in the start) it cools like frozen(when Rev-9 came) why?

Going to call this a coincidence because there’s no way they put that much into that point but make no effort to dialogue better than, “if you kill us you’ll never be born, ” and John replies, “Says who?”
