I bought the Ultimate box when they released it last summer, and in that box, there were a few walls and a hab bunker. It had been resting with comfort in the box until last week, when i finally got around to tackle it. When i was done i realized that it looked a bit lonely, almost like a ugly duck, or the new kid at a new school with no friends. And i don't like that. So, i had a choice, do i sell it to someone else, or should i give the hab bunker a few friends to play with. Easy choice, i ordered 2 boxes of the Battlezone fronteris nachmund, in my head that sounded like the best choice. I get a full mattlemat, even though i have a few roll-out neoprene already. i get to do both the landing pad and a landing pad stacked with the bunker. And i get even more buildings so that i can convert some into destroyed bunkers. But the main reason was because you never know when GW decides to stop production. And also, these are my first ever GW made terrain i have invested in, apart from a few ruined walls from 3rd edition. it’s not cheap, but it’s cool. And the sure looks way better than my MDF terrain kits.

You are the very best terrain master, SS82. I find your tables so interesting, realistic, and cinematic. Would love to see that chain link fence tutorial!

I love these terrain videos. I am planning on painting up the Mechanicus Charadon box set with a few extra gantries and structures this summer. I'll probably blend in a of the gamemat pieces as well to fill out the board. Your terrain videos have given me a lot of great ideas.

Fantastic video. i really like these battlefield setup videos you have made recently. The Nachmund looks an amazing kit.

It would really be awesome if you could do a tutorial or at least a walkthrough of the materials and how you made your mesh fences and walkways.

Another brilliant one Luke! Love the bit of panning at the end! Looking forward to the next one in this series. :)

I love these tutorials. It's been awhile since GW put out a terrain kit as good as this one, I'm guessing a lot of folks will be wanting to pick it up. Your board looks great as always.

alright ladies and gents, first post here. After a 18 year hiatus i'm beginning to get the 40k itch again. Problem i've got is finding clubs in my area of west norfolk. Not the most densley populated part of the country i know, but i was wondering if anyone here either knew of clubs here or if there was a list or forum where they could be found? Thankyou in advance.

Also quick poll, I'm torn between the Guard or the Eldar, any thoughts?

This looks like the sort of terrain I could carry around with my army...

Did you glue the nachmund barricades/walls together or have you done something else? Any recommendations for them for a flexible set up? I primarily play kill team and combat patrol/incursion size games. Thanks
