I served 1954-58 aboard U.S.S. Antietam, CVS-36. A lot has changed since then. Go NAVY.

I served as a Radarman and OS on two missile destroyers back between 69/73. One was a Farragut class, and the other was a Leahy class ship. Being in Ops division we were tactically aware of the Soviets capabilities, and I was sorry our ships didn't have any kind of over the horizon anti shipping capabilities even then. I think the Arleigh Burke class ships are absolutly awesome!

Of my four years in the US Navy, spent 3-1/2 years at sea aboard 2 destroyers. Best time of my life for a 19-year old guy from Raymondville, TX.

The destroyer were originally developed in 1885 by Fernando Villaamil for the Spanish Navy.

1:05 that's the aft missile deck, not the focsle. You can tell because they have the Harpoon launchers (the X shaped round missile tubes), the refueling rig on the starboard side and the RHIBs just ahead of it.

바다위에서 잠수함이 가진 힘을 낸다는게 멋지네요.거기에 하늘도 다닐수 있고 땅에 힘까지 네가지를 가진 배는 못본것 같아요.멋집니다.
