I say paint the curtain rod Gold. Make it stand out with all the other gold touches. You can also put a ruched fabric sleeve on it. Everything can be changed!! I’m often up throughout the night with my 18 year old terrier who has doggy dementia. She sundowns and becomes restless and confused.Sometimes it can be emotional..The thought of losing her. 🥺
I try to focus on the blessing of still having her!
It often reminds me of my beloved mama who passed away from Alzheimer’s.
I’ve had so much loss in my life of loved ones.
They are now my angels.😇
I feel so blessed to still have my 18 year old fur baby!

I think the rod would look super rich in gold. The entry table looks fabulous painted….I’m loving your “new space” with all the pink and white. I started painting my room and other parts of our home in “ballet pink” and it looks wonderful….lots of shabby chic items and florals…my hubby helped me put teacups on my chandelier which I’ve been wanting to do for ages. My kitchen was all cream, pink and white but now it is white, red and gold—-love how red looks and how happy it makes me. Blessings

Olivia, it’s beautiful! Honestly! I love the way both tables turned out. The gold frames and lamps on the entryway table look elegant and cozy. Slipcovers are very pretty and Benji Bear approved! I think the curtain rod would look great white or gold but more so gold.

Your Persian Styled Ritz living is just breathtaking. I would paint the curtain rod gold to tie in all the touches of gold. The hall table looks so very pretty and I really like your coffee table.The antique look is very pretty, what a great deal. The slip coverings are genius. Having multiple animals and furniture coverings are the right way to go. It’s comfortable for them and you. It’s saves the furniture and you from constant stress and cleaning. The ruffles make it sweet and feminine keeping with your idea decor. Love the tables makeovers. You might want to add a little gold to the side table to meld it with the others. Love all the gold sparkling throughout the room. 💕

Everything looks so beautiful. I have babysat my grandchildren ages 4 and 7 for 5 days a week since they were each 5 1/2 months old. I cover my furniture with fitted sheets. The gum on the ends holds onto the sides very well. Covering has saved my furniture, as yours covers will keep your couch nice a lot longer!!!

I am so glad that you are painting and decorating your home the way you feel comfortable. We must do what makes us feel good and right in our lives. Your home is beautiful. Painting your curtain rod will look nice, but I would suggest not a stark gold maybe gold with some white mixed in it. I don’t know how that might look, but whatever you do it’s going look fabulous! 🩷
