My dad named me after Tamera. He saw the show "Sister, Sister" and thought the girls were super sweet. So he named me after one of them. But he spelled it differently.

My mom got my name from sister sister. She was going to pick Tamara but she said she just picked the short name so it wouldn't be that difficult for me to learn. And from watching the show. Tamara said her middle name is Renee. My middle name is Renee too.

Hearing all their name stories was hilarious😂😂 it’s so interesting to hear how some people got their names.
When I was born my parents were still undecided on a name so I didn’t have a name for 2 weeks. Until one day my dad saw some article in the newspaper and said to my mom “hey this girl in the articles name is Melissa I like that” and my mom was like “yea Melissa is pretty let’s go with that”.... here I am 24 years later 😂🤷🏻‍♀️
