DEI for sure entered into many large Companies about 20 yrs ago. The division it caused trying to achieve DEI goals, created work-force divisions that may never heal. By promoting an unqualified person simply because of race/gender and/or liberal views, created disastrous quality and personnel issues for the Companies! Thank God that is now beginning to end!

DEI began with a humble plea for "tolerance". This has been a case study in the Progressive technique of Incrementalism.
