PREVIEW - Dragon Ball v3 REMASTER AND FAULCONER RESCORE

Hello everyone. Today I am happy to announce that my next project will be something that I've been thinking about and honestly wanted to do for some time now.

For those of you who don't know, I've never actually watched the original Dragon Ball series. I tried several times, and really just couldn't get into something that was 100% comedy and tonally very extremely different than Dragon Ball Z. It also was missing one key component - the BEST music that has ever been made for a Dragon Ball series - the BRUCE FAULCONER score.

It is my pleasure to announce that I will now be doing a COMPLETE rescore of Dragon Ball with music done by Bruce Faulconer. I believe this is truly the way that Dragon Ball was meant to be seen, and I hope through this project, that I am able to introduce Dragon Ball to a Western audience. Nothing against whoever did the original score (some guy named, Kicoochie, I think), however I believe Bruce is the only one to truly capture the essence of Dragon Ball.

In addition, I have partnered with some of the brightest minds in the fan restoration community to completely and totally REMASTER the video transfer of Dragon Ball to 16:9 1080p, with glorious modern color grading and grain preservation. This is truly the one and only way that the show is meant to be seen.

This is so close to perfection. But it needs more cropping and saturation. The colours are off a bit. We need to have green skies and extremely pinkish skin. Also for some reason, there is a grain in the image. Who the hell likes grain???!! You have to apply a DNR filter to remove

Well, shit, this may have been a joke, but this sounds really cool. It would be neat if the Funi dub of OG Dragon Ball got a new Americanized synth soundtrack, but the Faulconer style doesn’t really fit OG Dragon Ball. It’s more fitting for Z, no doubt about that.

I've heard from a YouTube comment said that the SoM Dragon Box remuxes couldn't be burned onto BD-R discs without losing any quality. Can you clarify whether that's true or not? I so want to preserve your brilliant work in a physical format.
