The green lady is well known. I lived in Kempston in the early 70's on a dark evening after going to a youth disco next to the church at church end. aged 14 I had to leave before my mates at 9pm alone as I wasn't allowed to stay out longer, it was pitch dark in November & I had to walk the whole isolated path past ladies walk following the river to church walk & water lane knowing about the green lady story from ladies walk.she is the ghost of a young woman mourning the death of her boyfriend during the Civil War, distraught she ran from the Manor, down ladies walk into the river & drowned. I survived my walk but a nervous wreck. When I told my parents they thought I was crazy. They too knew of her. I challenge anyone to walk there on their own but there is slightly more light now.

I was based at Chicksands for 4 years. I was walking around the priory at 2 o clock in the morning as I was part of the security team. I went into an octagonal room but something told Mr I shouldn't be in there, I walked out, closed the door behind me and it sounded like something kicked the door behind me as if to say get out! Needless to say I was out of there like a shot! Amazing place with so much history to it.

Number 7 freaked me out! About 10yrs ago I was outside clophill church in my car in broad day light. There was already a car there with a young couple in the front seats. I parked up and when when I looked around the car had gone? Very strange...

I love it. Number 9 is excellent as I have something very spooky to show around where that story is but he's not running he's guarding the entrance to the nearby house but certainly shadow form and would love to know what you think. I'm currently in talks with the museum and after will post the video of the apparition at wardown House liton . Let me know who he looks to be and I will tell u what the building was prior to becoming a museum very spooky stuff for a sceptical individual like me
