I wish my doctors were willing to learn from their patients.

One of the most remarkable points in this great video was right at the end… the meta analysis shows clearly that the lower your LDL-C the higher your All Cause Mortality. And we know that statins are very effective in reducing LDL-C. So why are the world’s doctors trying to reduce the lifespan of their patients by prescribing statins???

You think the researchers aren't bright enough to see what their data shows? They search for parameters and design their studies to show what they want to find. Reading the studies makes it easy to see. You see it a lot in physics, astronomy, psychology, etc.

I am sorry to say that this is why I no longer believe any study or research results any more. It is an uncomfortable place to be.

Can you please link the studies that Paul discusses in this video?

The best joke I’ve ever heard is, the vegan diet provides you all your nutritional needs.

Anyone know the 2004 paper Mason referenced that showed LDL was more oxidized from the seed oils and polyunsaturated fats?

The technical term for settled science is dogma. The dumbest oxymoron is settled science. The heart of real science is debate i.e. only things that can't be disproved can be true.

It seems that evidence that is counter to the ‘official’ viewpoint, must be ignored until the weight of evidence becomes irresistible and even then the three monkeys will preside over this tragedy for another decade or so.

Please consider give the info needed to look up cited studies.

14:35 This goes for life in general, not just scientists. It's a mistake to pedestalize scientists and expect them to have anymore undrrstanding of the human spirit and ethos more than anyone else. There's also nothing wrong with being perceived as dogmatic when you're correct, which I guess means the problem is one of discernment and perspicacity.

Researches are to seek molecules or the approach to monetize. Nothing to do with the patient's health

Isn’t there an over 60’bias with high LDL and longevity?
