This is not a pencil turn….what she did in the video is not a true pencil turn. I’ve been a dancer and dance teacher for 38 years this is not a classic true pencil turn. It was just a spin nothing like a pencil turn. You should have your foot out mid in the air raised off the ground while spinning. It’s like a math compass for geometry one leg stands on the ground while the other one is spinning but off the ground slightly. It’s a harder turn to do rather than just a simple spin as she did in the video! ❤
