I planted artmesia this year. I love the soft texture of these plants. I have to touch it every time I walk by it!

Thanks for taking us along on your Home Grown Plants shopping tour. I've got to replace some of my spring annuals that are dying out in my front full sun flower bed and I'm going to go with some flowering perennials. Maybe some cone flowers and shasta daises. Looking forward to seeing how you put together your planters with your purchases from today.

Hi Amanda this was a fun visit, I got some good ideas as well.Im struggling with a new bed full sun and i got some lantana and salvia and im stumped 😑 however this really helped alot.I love what you put together love the color and texture combo.Ugh what a mess that was to come home too You might have looked like a nut but most people wouldn't have cleaned it up and helped it drain.Looking forward to seeing your planting and also interested in your lantana video, thats a go to perennial for me.🕊️💚

You may know that there is a "little" Joe pye weed. However, in my garden it still is about 5' tall. It's about 3' wide at this point. I usually try to corral it so it doesn't cover the other plants around it.
I bought more astrantia (bare root) that I just potted up to hopefully get it established before putting it in the ground. It's becoming a huge favorite of mine.
I agree with flopping yarrow. I keep wondering why I purchased it. I probably don't have enough sun for it.
I'm finding my favorite color in the garden is white. It just stands out so much.

Good morning. Well that was a fun shopping trip. Really looking forward to seeing what perennial plants you will purchase for the idea that you have. Those back porch containers will have a great wow factor. Hopefully you will rest well after that great work out that you got. Enjoy the rest of your day.

Oh no, I just put some calibrachoa in the ground! Hopefully they do okay and our yearly spider mite bloom doesn't take them out.

Nice “ window shopping” for perennials. Always good to keep familiar with the options… so much water still draining is there a leak in plumbing somewhere? Maybe your neighbors irrigation system? Hope you get it fixed before the garden tour

You need to give Penstemon another try. Mine gets water when it rains. Has never flopped. Been in the same spot for years and years.

I have such garden center envy! I did go to a really cool one in Portland (the Portland nursery) I love artemsia but can't stand the smell. Is it just me? I'm looking forward to my echinacea this year. From bare root last year but overwintered and grew
