5 And this is the message [the message of promise] which we have heard from Him and now are reporting to you: God is Light, and there is no darkness in Him at all, no, not in any way].

God is Love and as our Creator, surely He Knows, the Ugly, the Hurt, the Pain, the Tears, the Bad and the Sad, yet he Loves Us Anyway. Even if you don’t know or are sure there is a God. Run to Him not away, ask for his guidance, and to reveal His presence in your life. God does not need us to clean ourselves up first, that is what a Father’s Love Truly Is, Loves us in spite of Us.
