I’m guessing we’re about the same age! If you had grown up in the UK in the late 50’s/early 60’s, you couldn’t have missed a radio programme called ‘The Goon Show’. Every week featured two musical slots, one by Max Geldray (BBC answer to Larry Adler), and the other by Ray Ellington. Today, I heard him sing ‘Lulu’s back in town’, an old standard with an interesting opening chord progression. What do you think?
