I'm writing this comment 2 years after this video game out. It's crazy to see how much the prices for all these games have fluctuated since then. Please DON'T take any of the information in this video as fact anymore; almost all the games have risen in price, and if you ever see a used Pokemon game (especially from the GameBoy era) for under $30 on eBay, don't buy it; it's probably fake.

You left out the most important part of why the batteries were so important on G/S/C. With a dead battery you can't save.

I got heartgold used with the manual and case for $37.99 on ebay I was so lucky because now a days they cost $40-50 or more. I got crystal for $12-13 and it was authentic with a dead battery and I I replaced it myself the seller was nice enough to sell it to me at such a low cost. They usually cost $40-50 or more honestly.
