To all of my fellow migraine individuals out there, just want to let you know that the footlong cookie tasted good at first. But after a few bites in, a heavy artificicial flavor took over. It triggered a migraine for me and my husband ended up having digestive issues after the cookie. This is also why I stayed away from the churro at subway. Heard it had a heavy artificial butter flavoring.

Tx for stopping in my neighborhood, South Ft Myers. Fan of yours but not a fan of fast foods but now might try Popeyes. Not surprised Subway was a bust. Never understood their popularity at all. Maybe because I had lived in Philadelphia and south Jersey for four years where the subs are absolutely insane. I literally have eaten at Subway. Three times in 25 years each time out of my control. Barely edible food each and every time. Remember distinctly eating there in May 1990 the day I moved into FM. Got here at 8 o’clock at night, didn’t know our way around and spotted a subway. Figured we’d give it a shot. Disgusting. Coming from Philly. They had a cheesesteak on the menu. I ordered it. I knew I WAS in trouble when the guy reached under the counter, grabbed a little 6 ounce Styrofoam cup and stuck it in the microwave. He then proceeded to pour the cheese steak out of that onto a cold bun. 🤮Never knew how they stayed in business. Anyway, you were probably within a mile of my house for a couple of hours. So welcome. Hope you enjoyed your stay in our area. I’m actually not surprised that you decided to just go to fast food. Restaurants is our pickings are slim here for good restaurants. Everything is a chain. In fact, I’m so disgusted with the dining out Options here that I called Fort Myers “the land of the chains”. I wish you could’ve turned me onto some hidden gem here that I have been able to find in 35 years. Oh well, other than Culver’s, once every month or two, I guess I’ll be eating home. Love your content. Sorry I didn’t see while you were out there.
