Graphing Inverse Functions Examples | PreCalculus

Let’s perform some graphing inverse functions examples. When graphing an inverse function there are several steps that we must take. Firstly, we should create an input to output value table and graph our original function. Then we can draw a line about x=y and use this to mirror our original function. The mirrored function is simply the inverse (assuming of course that the function has an inverse, for which all functions don’t). In this video we also go through a few tips on graphing inverse functions.

This timeline is meant to help you better understand how to graph inverse functions in Precalculus:
0:00 Introduction.
0:10 Functions & inverse functions review.
1:18 How to graph an inverse function.
2:35 Inverse function examples.
6:01 Outro
