Every place does that, they’ll cancel your appt when you’re a few minutes late, but when they’re running late, they will keep you there until they’re ready to get to you.

One time, when I had to go to court, the court issued the wrong times for the whole day. There was like 20 people waiting outside after hours confused.

They tell you be there at 8 a.m. and then they call your name like 4 or 5 hours later depending on what court you're in everybody in there is frustrated

I don't know what this guy did but if the point of the court system is to rehab people then they deserve to have their time respected. Poverty is one of the biggest risk factors for crime, him having a job significantly decreases the likelihood he will be a repeat offender.

Imagine saying the guys disrespectful for just sighing but the bailiff is interrupting him and the judge isn’t believing him or even apologizing for having him late?

That judge has already made his mind up about what he think that mans character is. He doesn’t trust him or hear his side. Don’t talk about attitude when you have more attitude. Do not get yourself before a judge or jury if you can avoid it!
