I've always been harsh on my ideas, this reminded me that last year I lost one of my notebooks with a recopilation of my illustrations. I tend to buy art notebooks but at the end of the day, I keep drawing the illustrations on random papers lol but this particular notebook had precious sketches pasted to it. Has been really painful saying goodbye to that recopilation but at the same time, I should need to keep the idea creation on the run and generate even better ideas that the ones I really loved on that notebook. Also, this speech let me thinking about my art as motion graphics animator and CGI generalist, where I have made almost 0 personal work, I do very good job but don't know why I've always been so relentless on making personal artwork.

Thank you for uploading this, Kirby! I'm in the middle of a huge writing project, and I've reached the point where the ideas have stopped flowing easily, so this is exactly what I needed to hear right now. See you in 2020. 👍

Lol, i know it's been 4 years and you probably won't see this not to mention you have a life but I have to ask this question because everything else in this little series resonance with me so much.
@1:19 Minutes in you said that you put your ideas in a inbox and then later sort them. How do you sort them what tips can you pass on?
I saw this video "Design Land: Creating Great Design Docs - Extra Credits Video Games" they recommend that you use a wiki and organize your plans using that. Honestly the video makes a lot of sence to me the problem is they were talking about applying this process when working on a huge project with meny people and moving parts.
Idk if it would work for what I want to do. Even if it does it may take extra effort or costs (apparently there is such thing as pay to use wiki software😧) compared to whatever techniques you have developed in the last decade of life.

Anyway, thank you Kirby for the great video.

Hey Kirby, I'm really excited to see your comments on this topic. I think you've put together some brilliant ways of thinking about things and uncovered a lot of valuable patterns worth knowing about!

By the way, I think there's a typo/missing word in the title of the video that doesn't match the thumbnail.
