Now that he’s retired it’s a golden opportunity for Sky Cricket to hire him as a cricketing analyst for next summer. Man this guy lives cricket through & through just the way he speaks about the game. He would be an excellent addition to the Sky team.

Speaks volumes about the fact that he gave his 1st interview post retirement to sky and not to any of the clown broadcasters back home😊

All them lockdown kids judging him based on his SENA stats. I'm honoured to say I have followed him as a teenager from his debut to his last game. Those who have followed his career will know the impact he had on tours to Australia and England with the very limited opportunities he had. He bowled match winning and series defining spells and was hardly given a consistent run on those tours (also hampered by injuries). To me right now he is the greatest all format finger spinner. Legend, respect from Sri Lanka 🇱🇰

The third best spinner of my lifetime. Happy retirement Ashwin. You were the finest Indian cricketer of the 2010s. Much love and respect from a Sri Lankan cricket fan.

With his guile, intelligence, and a mastery of spin bowling, he has redefined the art of off-spin on the global stage. Beyond his remarkable tally of wickets, Ashwin's resilience, tactical acumen, and ability to adapt across formats have made him a pillar of Indian cricket. Equally significant is his contribution with the bat, showcasing grit and determination in challenging situations. A true cricketing genius, Ashwin's legacy is etched in his unwavering dedication and his pivotal role in shaping India's triumphs on the field. A true GOAT !

Still 15 minutes left... but I have already embraced this podcast and kept it close to my heart. Unbelievably, a beautiful chat.

Now this man is a genuine legend. Just got on with his job faultlessly, didn’t make a song and dance about it. And consistently produced the goods!

No nonsense!

Like the Paul Scholes of cricket

Handsdown the best interview of Sky sports cricket. Ashwin has volunteerily shared so many things that i never knew of. May be he just likes both of you to go to lengths to share all the details.

47:26 when ash said "in many ways i am lucky to have a partner like jaddu, and corrected himself to i was" teared me up...

59:02 - I am the MVP of my cricket. A very good advice to all the people who only worship 2 cricketers in this country and have made them bigger than the game. A perfectly cooked dish definitely has more than 2 ingredients in it.
Come on Ash... Come on Ash... FOREEVER!
