As someone who is recovered from an eating disorder, it took some courage to watch this video because I didn't want to be triggered by what you would say but having worked hard over the past years, I told myself I could listen to any advice with filters and just enjoy your energy and presence.... but to hear you say something so loving and careful like "listen" and other mantras in "mindful eating".... oh! it just touched my heart! THANK YOU for these videos and VLOGS. I am on my second 30 day journey now, started with Breath and no on Dedicate, and I am attempting to go for the full year, thank you for your mindful response.

This should have millions of views! Adrienne this video probably brings your mind right back there. And how things have changed! For the better, even with everything you have earned and attained, spiritually you are much stronger. You need to be.

Adriene your videos inspire so much positivity and happiness within me. I suffered from anorexia nervosa for a long, long time and decided to take up yoga a few monthd ago. Not only has it improved my flexibility, my stamina, my strength and general health but I can now love my body and believe it in. I love my body for these things it allows me to do and I cannot thank you enough for your guidance and happiness and positivity. You lit a spark in me which I haven't felt in a long time. Thank you x

Love this! I learned about Intuitive eating in recovery from an eating disorder. It is all about listening to your body. I love the saying "find what feels good" I think we are told way too much about how we "should" eat that we forget to listen to our bodies. I also love that you emphasize that we are all individual and to find what works for us. Thanks for your videos, I especially love Yoga Flow! It's my fav! I would love more flow videos like it. Thanks again!

On slowing down and paying attention: I didn't keep it up, but for a while I tried to chew every bite 32 times. During that time I ate a McDonald's cheeseburger. Wow. These things don't work unless you wolf them. By about half way through, it barely seemed like food at all – which it isn't, really.
