I loved how the gameplay was actually pretty thematic like not playing with kids so they may wander, your best buds never leave your side, kids copying what they see other people doing. I'm looking forward to playing it with more players now that things are slowly opening up again.

Thanks for the runthrough. Very entertaining to watch you create stories with the kids you pick up. When we played, we were less about stories and more concentrating into building our deck. Much more fun when you create stories about the neighborhood! 😄 We liked this game. It plays quickly and has a nice balance of strategy and luck.

When I played the game, I read those cards as some kids moved away so you could have like a big party before they leave, but then they wouldn't be around to play with later. So the points were like good memories, and so it brought with it some nostalgia. Not trying to change your mind on this one, but I do think that it was thematic.

Also, this one reminded me of Ethnos too, with having to return cards that were not used to the general supply. I was wondering if it did for you too?

I would agree that this one works best with more players. It means you can actually go for multiple kinds of cards to be able to follow more, and maintain more cards in your deck.

The "trash a card" ability didn't throw us off, but I do see where you're coming from with that concern. When I see a copy of one of my cards get played by one of my opponents, it feels like it's just that kid playing with another circle of friends...this game is surprisingly thematic and really immersed us in it's universe.

This is such a quick game too, it just flies by as I am so interested in what goes on during my opponents' turns. I know it's been done before, but that little twist just makes me all the more keen to play it. Great stuff from Leder Games again. Thanks for throwing this one up, I'm glad you took the time to take a look. :)

Funny fact: There is only 2 kids that can trash cards in the other players yards (Tiny x2 and Golden x2) and there is also 1 perk card that allow that. Tiny is an ok card but comes at the price of you not protecting your card while golden boy is probably the worst card of the game period since he's not gaining you any resources.

I know you said that you dislike the trashing of other player cards, but what is the difference between trashing a card with Tiny and/or Golden Boy and picking up and trashing it with cards like your best friend, Bones, Blitz, Crash, etc. or putting it in your lookout with Sarge, Worm, Moose, etc.? The end result is pretty much the same to me.

Also, I found that most of the time, I cannot trash any cards from the combo my opponent has, because they are mainly using them anyway. There is a bit of the luck of the draw if the cards in your hands does not go well together, but at the same time, I feel like we can partially reduce this by the cards we decide to add in your deck.

Thanks for the video ;)

Agree on the weird fiddly rules. Took 4-5 games before I felt I was playing it correctly. Got into a few arguments trying to teach the either/or but not both rule on wild toy/pizza icons.

looks good but the theme and box art isn't pulling me in. Thanks Richard for yet another excellent 🏃‍♂️though👍

I quite enjoyed this game, is it a must have? Probably not but I did enjoy the game. Played at 3, couldn’t imagine playing with only 2

The attack cards idea does seem off to me too... but this one seems super cool otherwise!

This game is good and clever. That's all I can say. Played once. Have no desire to play it again.

Everytime I watch a video of this game I have the feeling that only two ressources is really not enough and very limitative.

I thought this would be a game about building a fort.

Kids move out of town all the time. That’s how I look at it.
