Paris Olympics 2024: Tom Pidcock on winning gold in cross-country cycling

Sky News' Rob Harris speaks to Team GB's Tom Pidcock who after a punctured tyre went on to win the men's mountain bike race - also defending the title he won in Tokyo.

When asked about French fans booing for him, he said he understands, even though the Olympics should not be the place for this.

It’s no surprise Pidcock won. He is a UCI World Tour pro. The difference in fitness between an elite level road cyclist and the best mountain bike focused riders is night and day. Not even close.

it was a pretty mediocre course by the Olympics. France has lots of great terrain and they created one( they can not do anything right). Was easy for him
