I don’t buy the “Scott would get to a ball that Siani would have to dive for” because Scott would wait then take a bad angle to the ball.
I’m curious why we say Scott underperformed offensively where Siani over performed? Please don’t say sIAnI got lUckY. Also Scott doesn’t even attempt to steal bases in the majors so idk how much that should factor in.
The narrative around Scott vs Siani is still crazy to me. Scott is 18 months younger, not 8 years as we act. The team is dumb yeah but they’re telling us how they view the Siani vs Scott debate. Scott is a fan favorite I wonder if people will get upset that he’s not in the majors next year.

The Gorman situation underscores how woeful the coaches are at the MLB level. Kid came up raking and then faded away. Seems to happen far too often. Grateful for these. All the best. I know this will probably be an unpopular idea, but the Cardinals should consider bringing back Gibson to pitch another year then offer him a coaching job. I think he would make a great bench coach or even a manager. I would think he would be interested in this as he does live in the greater St Louis I didn't like the idea at first of moving Helsley to a starting pitching role, but after thinking about it some. I think it makes sense and could work.
