Interesting. In islam when a married woman is on her cycle she is forbidden intercourse but is allowed to sleep in the same bed as her husband.
She can't pray until she has a bath after her period to be clean then everything is back to normal. Every periods is not seen as a possible child as God did not design us to have babies every nine months. In the quran the cycle from where the sperm comes from through conception to the stages of embryology are described and with scientic accuracy. God also says the soul enters the embryo at around120 (3 mths) days. What happens to the soul at death is also given in detail.

For important clarification! It' not that G-d forbid the women has an absence or g-d. G-d is never absent and never "removes himself" from anyone or anywhere. Mikvah is symbolic for when a women had the potential to create life but being that there was no conception there was a loss of that potential. Like An absence of a soul that could've been. (Also the reason that a women goes to Mikvah after she gives birth because there was a soul inside her that is now not inside her). And we see this in many things in Judaism.
For example a Kohen that comes in contact with death also must go to Mikvah. Not because he had an absent of G-d but he came in contact with death which represents when we don't see G-d. but It's also really important to note that Mikvah is a Mitzvah (a commandment) that falls under the category of a "Chok". It means a commandment that we will never fully understand why, but we do it out of our love and desire to connect to G-d. (Some commandments we can totally understand like not killing or not stealing or not hurting an animal). Whilst we don't understand the Mitzvah to its full extent, we are encouraged to learn about it and the reasonings that we do understand and comprehend both spiritually and practically.

Absence of God is way worse than calling someone "unclean." Physiologically speaking, your body coudn't handle being pregnant every year. This would destroy a woman's body. Furthermore, to denote that God somehow is omnipresent but a period keeps Him away is a contradiction. Women are equally loved by God as men.

I admire people who stand for their values and declare them openly.

I think you are very brave for sharing this. I am also an Orthodox Jewish woman. I also follow this mitzva and I enjoy it, however I could never put it into words. My non-religious, or non-Jewish friends are always confused when I try to explain it even though it makes perfect sense to me.
Ignore the comments that try to "teach you better" or demean you. For most people, even Jewish, this is a very confusing concept to grasp. I think that is because it's intimately intertertwined with other Jewish concepts that are more obscure if you don't practice the mitzvot or learn about them. I hope you bring great Kiddush Hashem through your videos.

omg I always was confused about this. Your explanation made so much sense

The cycle is the whole ~28 days. The period of menstruation lasts 5-7 days.

I learned about Mikva in a tv series called "The Chosen" - where a Mikva was portrayed. It is about the forming of the christian church, but depicts jewish customs very clearly, so we get to know and love the customs too...

They are simply not pure according to the Torah, the explanation is sweet though.

Hello, I always see your videos. And I'm am not a Jew but I find it beautiful. I am stufgling with my faith and have given up because of past traumatic childhood experiences. I would love to be close to God but am afraid and unsure if he truly cares for me. What would you recommend.
I apologize I'm on a different subject

For everyone dissatisfied with her answer, since I don't follow zohar and kabbalistic ideas:
Someone here explained the etymological explanation, so I won't. Though unclean, dirty, impure, are all saying the same thing. How is that so? Well first ask why is it impure?
Blood. It just so happens that women have blood come out of them, and being exposed to blood affects purity in the times of the temple and mishkan. It's the same with male ejaculations or discharge seen in the Torah. So it's not just women, it's men, too. It's not about a woman or a man, it's what is coming out of them that is causing the person to become impure/dirty/however you want to translate it. It all conveys roughly the same meaning once understood with the context I just said.

A transition to the afterlife so i dont agree sorry .. you contemplating your belief by using your own words and ways . You should use more references to everything you say . Makes you seem more legit

Separate from her husband? So when a girl gets her menses she then separates from her husband? That is Judaism? You can try and package a turd like a potato, but it's still a turd.
In Islam:
Narrated 'Aisha:
The Prophet used to lean on my lap and recite Qur'an while I was in menses.
Narrated Um Salama:
While I was laying with the Prophet under a single woolen sheet, I got the menses. I slipped away and put on the clothes for menses. He said, "Have you got "Nifas" (menses)?" I replied, "Yes." He then called me and made me lie with him under the same sheet.
Narration by Aisha “RasulAllah ﷺ used to put his mouth on the place where I had drunk from, & he would drink from what was leftover by me, even if I was menstruating.” He, ﷺ would also eat after her, & from the same place she had eaten from
